About Café Lyria

Café Lyria is a cafe in New York, New York. It is listed at 166 Crosby St, New York, NY 10012, which places it among the local businesses of New York that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. In New York, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across New York, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, cafelyria.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 615 reviews, which is a strong result for a cafe in New York and suggests consistent service.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is probably one of my favorite coffee shops of all time. The vibes are awesome AND they got manga and one piece playing! But it also has cool things everywhere. The cafe lyria has a sweet but earthy flavor. The hibiscus ice tea was not too sweet, great. The best part is the atmosphere for sure. Lots of space to sit inside and outside.

Very friendly and happy staff. Super helpful . Quality coffee and drinks . I’d recommend the freddo espresso with oat milk and Greek honey. 🍯

Freddo Cappuccino w/ honey 4.5/5⭐️ DO NOT expect a latte when you order this. Espresso over ice means it will be a bit more watery. Because the milk is whipped, there is WAY LESS of it compared to your typical latte. This gives it a stronger coffee taste, less sweet. Skim milk also means it won’t be very creamy. Now that that comparison is out of the way… The espresso shot is pulled to be quite sour (not just light roast sour, like Greek yogurt sour). Lucky for me, I LOVE Greek yogurt, so this was perfect! The wifi is reliable, but seating is ALWAYS packed. Both inside and out. If you really want to stay, I suggest trying to squeeze in somewhere or stand, give it 10min and you should find something. Since there are always so many people, there is a slightly higher turnover. Maybe have a plan B cafe nearby if you need to work… I’ve had to do that a few times unfortunately

Such a hidden gem 🤍 Cafe Lyria is a super cute spot tucked inside a lobby in SoHo, which honestly makes it feel a little more special and low key. They have seating, so it’s a great place to actually sit, relax, and enjoy the vibe instead of rushing out. The atmosphere is really nice calm, aesthetic, and just an easy place to unwind or catch up with someone. The staff was also genuinely friendly, which always makes a difference. I ordered the iced matcha latte and it was so good perfectly balanced and refreshing. Definitely a spot I’d come back to

This place represents perfectly the Greek vibe from Greece. Is a very well made aesthetically place, coffee is good and you can enjoy your coffee inside or outside (outdoors is beautiful as well). 100% worthy for 100% Greek standards. It’s a place for coffee and beverages (it seems like has fresh and good matcha as well).
